began practising medicine in 1978, the same year I graduated from Government Medical College in Aurangabad. In the decades since, I've worked in hospitals in Makkah, polyclinics across Saudi Arabia, served as Medical Director in Riyadh, and returned home to Bangalore.
What stayed constant was a single conviction — that a patient is best served by a doctor who can see the whole picture, not one piece of it. Chest pain, persistent cough, blood pressure: these often live together. They deserve to be considered together.
That is the practice I offer.
